Jetboil Personal Cooking System (Black) Review

The first thing to realize is that this uses butane/propane cylinders. The nature of this fuel is that it might not work at very high altitudes (sorry, Everest climbers) and also might not work well when it is below freezing. If this is your situation, go directly to a "white gas" stove. I have used this thing at 8,000 feet and 50 degrees F, and it worked fine.

As an engineer, I appreciate a clever design, and this stove has impressed me. The fuel and the stove itself can be stored in the cook pot, which saves space. If you get the java kit, that fits in there as well, along with the pot support fuel stand (more on those later).

This thing is meant to do one job, and to do it well: boil water. This means that it is great for things like cous-cous, coffee, soup, tea, hot dogs, oatmeal, etc. I thought that using one of the larger fuel cylinders would save money. The advantage of the larger fuel cylinder is that they are more economical (buy in bulk and save). However, the JetBoil positively sips fuel. My one large cylinder has been on a few campling trips, and several picnics. It has cooked soup, cous-cous, and probably a gallon of coffee and hot chocolate, and there is still some fuel left. Since the large cylinders do not fit in the cook pot, you have to carry them separately. This thing uses so little fuel that I am just going to stick with the smaller fuel cylinders, just to make it easier to carry.

You have a couple of other options with this stove. First, you can get the "pot support kit" which consists of a ring which goes on the top of the stove that makes it look more like a traditional backpacking stove, so that you can use a small frying pan or any other small pot that you want to use. The other part is a clamp-on support that goes under the fuel cylinder (it fits both large and small cylinders). Note that both of these can also be stored in the cook pot itself. Once you have the pot support kit, you can also get the "group cooking system" pot, and then you will have the option to cook for more people. The java kit will also turn your small JetBoil into a french press, and all parts can store in the cook pot itself.

In short, if this fits your type of cooking, this is an awesome little product.

Auburn Tigers 2010 Iron Bowl DVD () Review

(More customer reviews)this particular iron bowl is one for the ages. on the road, down 24-0, and left for dead, the auburn tigers mounted a remarkable comeback (the greatest in school history, BTW) & edged the alabama crimson tide 28-27. this monumental victory kept auburn's hopes alive for a shot at a national championship, which they eventually sealed two games later. included here is the complete CBS telecast in widescreen format, without commercial interruptions. however, that is ALL you're getting here, so don't expect any extra frills....once the final gun sounds, the DVD is over & done. nonetheless, any self-respecting auburn fan should proudly have this one in the DVD display rack....
edit: take note of the last minute or so of the first half. with the score 24-7, alabama was poised to score again. during a time out, the camera showed (alabama QB) greg mcelroy's family in the stands, doing what appeared to be some pre-emptive post-game celebrating......the very next play, alabama turned the ball over, and proceeded to limp their way through the rest of the game. poetic justice, or karma? LOL

Good room for doing squats or lunges... Planks to leg raises. Really pleased with these Dri-Power sweats that stay dry and flexible. Perform as advertised. Let's be honest here. With a traditional bingo set, you have the tumbling cage, a set of 75 balls, and the board where the balls are placed as the numbers are called. That's all well and good. However, it takes time between games to put the balls back into the cage.
With this deck of cards, you virtually have a bingo game in your pocket. You don't waste time handling the bingo balls. You can play bingo more quickly and easily.
Bottom line, if you want your inside and outside round robins to fly on golden wings, this is what you need.

Not real bright view, the edges of the field of view are a bit soft, but for the price this is markedly better than the cheapy binoculars often sold for ten or twenty bucks. This monocular is very small and light-weight. Handy carry case that fits on your belt. A nice little piece of field equipment to carry in the outdoors, to concerts, and for travel. Comes with a lint/cleaning cloth and a handy wrist strap. 3 stars primarily to be honest, objective and let you know this doesn't compare to something with much more expensive optics. It's really a 5 star rating when compared to anything in its price class.
