(More customer reviews)this particular iron bowl is one for the ages. on the road, down 24-0, and left for dead, the auburn tigers mounted a remarkable comeback (the greatest in school history, BTW) & edged the alabama crimson tide 28-27. this monumental victory kept auburn's hopes alive for a shot at a national championship, which they eventually sealed two games later. included here is the complete CBS telecast in widescreen format, without commercial interruptions. however, that is ALL you're getting here, so don't expect any extra frills....once the final gun sounds, the DVD is over & done. nonetheless, any self-respecting auburn fan should proudly have this one in the DVD display rack....
edit: take note of the last minute or so of the first half. with the score 24-7, alabama was poised to score again. during a time out, the camera showed (alabama QB) greg mcelroy's family in the stands, doing what appeared to be some pre-emptive post-game celebrating......the very next play, alabama turned the ball over, and proceeded to limp their way through the rest of the game. poetic justice, or karma? LOL
